Tuesday 7th January:
We got put into our groups for our short film, we began to think of our ideas.
We began to learn about single camera production and the techniques used.
Wednesday 8th January:
We filmed a dialogue sceen using single camera techniques.
Watched some examples of past short films makde at the college.
Thursday 9th January:
Watched more examples of short films
Worked on our film. Once we ha thought of an idea we began to think about plot, characters, locations and planned out our pitch.
Friday 10th January:
Watched a documentary about film editing
Worked on our pitch
Worked more on the plot and characters of the film. Began the pre production,
Tuesday 14th January:
Filmed another dialogue scene using single camera techniques.
Continued with pre production on our film
Wednesday: 15th January:
Began writing our synopsis and treatment of our film
Thursday 16th January:
We finished the treatment ready to present the next day
(also watched citizen Kane)
Friday 17th January:
Presented out treatment.
(also started editing project and watched north by north west.)
Wednesday 22nd January:
Began writing the script. The others confirmed locations and casting.
Thursday 23rd: January:
Continuing to write script. Watched Psycho
Friday 24th January:
Carried on with editing project and watched The graduate.
Tuesday 28th January:
Finished the Script. Began storyboards.
Wednesday 29th January:
Carried on with storyboards, Began Shot lists.
Thursday 30th January
We finished storyboards and shot lists. We Began creating music for film. I also started single camera essay.
Friday 31st January:
Continued editing project. Watched Pulp Fiction.
Saturday 1st February
Began filming. Got most scenes done.
Tuesday 4th February:
Began logging the footage ready to edit also I did a read through as I am in another groups film.
Wednesday 5th February:
Finished logging footage and we planned out the last scenes we need to film. Did some acting for another groups film.
Thursday 6th February:
I did the EDL and me and Cameron began editing.
Friday 7th February:
Continued editing with Cameron. Did some acting for another group.
Saturday 8th February:
Filmed last scenes needed.
Sunday 9th February:
Finished acting for the other group.
Tuesday 11th February:
Continued to edit film with Cameron.
Wednesday 12th February:
Continued to edit with Cameron also needed to some extra acting for other group.
Thursday 13th February:
Finished editing film. Also finished frostbite editing task.
